I understand separating work from life but this was a big deal. It happened on a Sunday and even though the property manager lived on site the manager on duty would not let me talk to him. My car was STOLEN from the “secured” parking garage only a couple weeks after I moved in. I had to to take off work to provide them paperwork and re-sign paperwork in order to get it. They requested copies of my lease because they said they could not find a promise of a move in bonus in my paperwork that they had. I asked about it several times and never got anywhere with anybody. I didn’t get my move in bonus until the month I moved out. This is why it took until I turned in my notice to move OUT to get my move IN bonus.2. The turn over in the office is terrible and therefore nobody ever knows what is going on. I signed my lease and the leasing agent quit her job the next day. My experience with Octave was HORRIBLE! If i could give 0 stars I would.1. Hopefully, the portal will be up for next month and hopefully this CSR is trained. The CSR rep needs more training when it comes to communicating with tenants as it can be an easy turnoff when there is one bad apple. There is obviously a lack of communication within management and/or new ownership but it should not be at the cost of the tenant. Not only was the CSR disrespectful as she was talking in front of co-workers and others but she was also wrong. I have never been late on my rent in the 3+ years. I dropped off a paper check in the office on 12/7 only to be told that I would have to pay a 10% late fee. This was great news since their portal was down to make payment on 12/1. On 11/30/20, I received a notice from their new system that rent was due 12/7/20. December rolls around and the portal to pay is down. I found a paper check (who uses those?) and paid rent for November. Last minute, they warned residents that the portal to pay rent would be down. I am sure it was a simple oversight and the case of someone having a bad dayOctave was recently purchased by TIAA. I am thankful for her attention to this matter and have faith that she will remedy any issues.

UPDATE: Tara from Pinnacle Living reached out to resolve this issue. This isnt a hotel.LOL If you have an issue, just hop on the elevator and go talk to the leasing people in person! They are super friendly and accommodating to you walking in. Talking about no one answering the phone at the front desk. I have to laugh at one of the reviews on here.

The resident cafe portal is super easy to use to pay your rent or put in a maintenance request. IMT across the street offers the same things as Octave but is almost $500 more a month. The pricing is a good value for the apartment size, amenities and location. Walking distance to Publix, Maple Street, Zanies is right down the road. I love the salt water pool, 24 hour gym, cozy lobby, convenient computer lab and Luxer One package system. The neighbors are very friendly and considerate of one another. They do an excellent job of keeping the building in great shape. The maintenance people are very responsive and kind. The leasing office is super friendly, attentive, helpful and down-to-earth.
